its been over 10 years since I have displayed my art publically. I come from a tattooing background and got out of it. Originally from Gainesville but have been in Ocala since 2015, I was originally an artist that became a successful tattoo artist. I owned a tattoo shop in Gainesville but due to life situations I made a hard decision to close it to be more available for my children. Here I am now, finally displaying my art publicly! 

I was inspired by my family on this piece. I started with drawing my own hands to include flaws to include my crooked pinky finger and a rendition of one of my tattoos on my arm.  I asked everyone in my family to tell me one object that they feel represent them individually. A level for my husband. A Guitar for my daughter. A Lego piece for my oldest son and a microphones for my youngest son. My hands are holding each of them, arm over shoulder looking off into the distance where you will see a heart shaped lock…..the key to my heart on the left.
