What is the inspiration behind your piece?: The majority of my paintings embrace surrealism. I am inspired by female surrealist painters including Remedios Varo and Leonora Carrington. I draw upon my dreams and spiritual concepts including karma, reincarnation and a universal divine force when considering topics and symbols for my paintings.

What is the inspiration behind your piece?: A mannequin standing on a loading dock behind a Bloomingdales caught my attention. It was out of place and uniquely absurd with the trash, concrete, and truck as contrast.

What is the inspiration behind your piece?: The beauty of a white egret gliding gracefully may evoke in viewers thoughts and feelings of peace, faith, and wonder. What is the inspiration behind your piece?: This piece was inspired by my relationship with God. In times of doubt and uncertainty, He reminds me of the peace I've secured. Although darkness is present, the beauty of the flowers and faceless dancers uplifts the mood. Even on the cloudiest and most ominous days, life's beauty invites us to dance. I hope this piece inspires hope, reminding us that perfection is not required to find joy and beauty.

What is the inspiration behind your piece?: I was thinking of the afterlife, and what happens to our dear pets (especially since they have a short life span). So my inspiration of this piece is of having a cat "crossing over the rainbow bridge" and into a new life. Having a serene and dreamy feeling is the inspiration I've had that allowed me to show in this artwork.
