Dreamscape of Anxious Delight

Dreamscape of Anxious Delight, October Art Exhibit
Dreamscape of Anxious Delight HONORABLE MENTION
"Dreamscape of Anxious Delight" presents a barn and silo within an abstracted field, pond, and sky, blending the real and the surreal. Created for "On the Horizon a Shared Experience" at Shapot Art Gallery, this piece aligned with a continuous horizon line uniting all works in the gallery. It was my first piece made for a specific prompt and my first exhibited work, marking a milestone in my artistic journey. Although the process was anxiety-inducing, I was equally delighted to see my vision of this dreamy, quiet landscape unfold. The dual emotions captured in this piece reflect how I feel about my art career, balanced between the excitement of creation and the anxiety that drives it forward.

Is the piece framed or gallery wrapped, and wired properly?
Yes

hand tufted yarn
What is the inspiration behind your piece?
I was inspired by the idea of a landscape in transition, where natural forms like the barn and water merge into dreamlike abstractions, creating a sense of unease beneath the surface serenity.
