Based in The Villages, Florida, Cynthia Ancel Martel’s favorite genres are portraits of people and pets, landscape, illusion, and images that tell a story. Oil is her favorite medium, although she also works in acrylics, color pencil, graphite and photography.
Her realistic style is enriched with symbolism not always realized at first glance. Much of Cynthia’s work is in private collections throughout the US. Since 1985 she has won myriad awards and recognitions.
