Cynthia Ancel

Based in The Villages, Florida, Cynthia Ancel’s favorite genres are portraits of people and pets, landscape, optical illusion and images that tell a story.  Her realistic and impressionistic style is enriched with symbolism not always realized at first glance.   Much of Cynthia’s work is commissioned and in private collections throughout the U.S.  

God is the ultimate creator and I attempt to interpret His works in the world around us.  While my art career began with photography, now oil is my favorite medium but I also paint with acrylics and color pencil.  My focus on realism has shifted and I’m currently concentrating on impressionism and my unique version of pointillism.
