Bird Brain
The focal point of this piece was taken from a discarded oil painting portrait I did earlier in the year that I wanted to give new life. Collage has been a prevailing medium for me recently as it helps me to piece together visions and ideas that are harder to articulate or put onto canvas. This piece titled Bird Brain is a fun take on what can be going on in my head at any given time, comments on the flightly yet whimsical nature of thoughts, and makes visual a of some common motifs from my dreams - birds and loud, abstracted interiors.
